What Does Your Warranty Cover?Updated 19 hours ago

At ScootWorld, we’ve got your back — and your scooter’s. If something isn’t working right, we’re here to help sort it out quickly and fairly. Here’s what our warranty covers and how it works 👇

🛡️ What’s Covered by Warranty?

Our standard warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship — not wear and tear or damage from usage. Here's what we typically cover:

  • Cracks or breaks in the deck that occur under normal riding conditions

  • Defective welding or joints

  • Faulty headset or bearing issues due to production flaws

  • Broken parts that fail during regular use (not from stunts or improper installation)

⏳ The coverage period varies by product and brand. Most scooter parts are covered for 90 days from the purchase date, unless otherwise specified.

🚫 What’s Not Covered

We want to be transparent — not everything is covered under warranty. Here are some examples:

  • Damage caused by crashes, misuse, tricks, or improper assembly

  • Parts that wear out naturally (wheels, grip tape, bearings, brakes, etc.)

  • Rust, water damage, or modifications

  • Issues caused by using incompatible parts or not maintaining your scooter

💡 Example: If your wheel core breaks after a big stair drop — that’s considered impact damage and not a warranty issue.

📦 What Do You Need to File a Warranty Claim?

We’ll need a few things to speed things up:

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or a video showing the problem

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • Optional: Close-up photos of the broken part from multiple angles

📍 How to Get Help

Send everything to [email protected] and our team will take it from there. We aim to respond within 24–48 hours on weekdays. You’re also welcome to call us at +45 70 26 79 79 during business hours (support in Danish & English).

✅ Final Notes

  • If your claim is approved, we’ll either replace the part, offer a similar item, or issue a refund/store credit depending on availability.

  • In some cases, you might need to return the defective product.
