Scooter parts aren’t always universal — different diameters, compression types, and compatibility quirks can cause confusion. This guide helps you quickly check if your bars, forks, clamp, and deck are all compatible.
🔍 1. Handlebar Compatibility
There are two handlebar diameters you need to know:

| Oversized | 34.9 mm |
💡 Bars can be steel or aluminum — this affects compression compatibility too.
🧷 2. Bar Slits & Compression
Whether your bars have a slit or not will determine which compression system they’re compatible with:

🔧 Bars with a slit won’t work with SCS unless you use a bar adapter or cut the slit off.
🧲 3. Clamp Compatibility
Clamp size depends on your handlebar diameter:

| SCS Clamp | Works as compression and clamp — check if it's for standard or oversized bars (some are universal with a shim) |
🧱 4. Fork & Compression Compatibility
Forks are often designed to work with one or two specific compression systems:
IHC Forks = Only work with IHC
HIC/SCS Forks = Work with HIC or SCS depending on setup
ICS Forks = Rare, need a long bolt through the fork to the handlebar starnut
Check that your fork has a built-in star nut or threaded insert for SCS/HIC/IHC setups. If not, you may need to install a star nut.
🛞 5. Wheel & Deck Fit
Wheels come in multiple diameters and widths. Most scooters use:
100 mm, 110 mm, or 120 mm
Widths: 24 mm (standard) or 30 mm (wide)
Decks and forks must support the diameter and width of your wheels.
